Cancellation Policy

At XGreen, we strive to provide seamless and flexible services to our customers. However, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling bookings and orders placed through our platform.

1. Gardener Booking Service Cancellation

  • Free Cancellations: You can cancel a gardener booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time without any cancellation fee.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee to cover any service costs incurred.
  • No-Show Policy: If the gardener arrives at your location, and the service cannot be completed due to reasons within your control (e.g., no access to the property), the booking will be marked as a "No-Show" and no refunds will be issued.

2. Garden Setup Service Cancellation

  • Free Cancellations: Garden setup bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled service without any penalty.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled service will incur a fee of [Insert Percentage or Amount], as we have already allocated resources for the setup.
  • Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule the garden setup service without incurring any fee, provided the request is made at least 48 hours in advance.

3. Product Orders (Plants, Tools, Pesticides)

  • Order Cancellations: Orders for plants, gardening tools, or pesticides can be cancelled before the item has been dispatched for delivery. Once the product has been shipped, cancellations are no longer allowed.
  • Non-Refundable Items: Live plants are perishable, and therefore, once delivered, they cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.
  • Refund for Cancelled Orders: If you cancel an order before dispatch, you will be eligible for a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

4. Refund Process

  • Refund Eligibility: Refunds will only be processed for eligible cancellations, such as those made within the allowable time frame or for damaged products.
  • Refund Timeline: Once a cancellation request is approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days. Depending on your payment provider, the funds may take additional time to reflect in your account.

5. How to Cancel

To cancel a booking or order:

  • Via App: Go to your account, select the booking or order, and click on "Cancel."
  • Via Email: Send your cancellation request to hello@xgreen.in, mentioning your order or booking ID.

6. Changes to Cancellation Policy

XGreen reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the app or website, and the updated policy will be effective immediately.
